Chapter 10. Who The Hell Is Megan?

There was a meeting at the BWC pharm Control Center. At one point, two women began to communicate in raised voices.
“Gabriel, you can’t trust him!” Megan protested.
“You know, I already regret that I brought you up to speed.”
“Listen to yourself!”
“I have to help him. There are good reasons for this that I cannot tell you about.”
“Gab! It doesn’t work like that!”
“Shut up!”
“How many times are you gonna make the same mistakes? Wasn’t one time enough? You’re already a human! What’s next?”
The remaining participants of the meeting decided to leave, having kept them alone.
“So, what’s the catch? You can tell me, right?”
Gabriel looked at Megan, and something stopped her from wanting to reveal all the cards. In recent months, especially after she became a human, Megan began attempting to seize initiative and leadership. It was noticeable by the naked eye that she was burdened by submission. Gabriel caught herself, thinking that she was no longer personally loyal to her and was already minding about starting a “solo career.”
“There will be no details for you. Are you in or not?”
“Fuck it… I’m tired of obeying your whims. To hell!”
“Close the door from the other side!”
After Megan left, Gabriel was approached by her second-in-command, who also was the head of liquidation groups and special operations forces. Their eyes met. They understood each other without words, as they’ve been lovers for a long time. She liked him, but the main thing was that she couldn’t entrust her life to someone with whom she had no sex. He moved two fingers around his neck, to which she responded with a slight nod.
Megan was a tall and slim Latino American lady, about thirty. Nature endowed her with refined features and large brown eyes, in which a lot of men have drowned out. Her luxurious brown hair was braided and fell with a neat ponytail almost to the waist. A sophisticated figure: narrow waist, wide hips, and lush breasts could have made a career in the modeling business for her, but all of this didn’t interest Megan at all: she went her own way. This was evidenced by a leather bracelet wrapped around the right hand with a modified message of the Apostle Paul to Timothy 6:12 “… take eternal life to which you were called…” On the left side of her neck was a tattoo, “No regrets, no fear. No memories, no tears. ”
Megan has come a long way in the SWAT structures, where she was spotted by Gabriel. Zeal and rigidity are two of her traits that moved her to new heights. After making sure that she had the potential to become the liquidator of the Order, Gabriel made her an offer that she couldn’t refuse. Time passed, and Megan’s status increased, as well as the doings to which Gabriel committed her. At some point, she was already aware of all the affairs of the Order.
Therefore, the latest disagreement over Balthazar was incredibly painful for both of them. Despite Gabriel’s attachment to her, a liquidation of Megan was the only way out of the situation.
A few hours later, on 210 highway, there’s been a terrible accident involving a car driven by Megan. After the investigation, the police concluded that it was an accident through negligence. The death of Gabriel’s liquidator didn’t go unnoticed among the half-breeds.

Gabriel finally established herself in the idea that the restoration of the Grail, even with the help of Balthazar, will become the key to the return of former power. It had to open a direct channel between her and the energy of the Throne, having returned her power to the Archangel, bypassing the Lord’s wishes. The return of all half-breeds under her influence would be only a matter of time. This was what she couldn’t say to Megan. “Was I right or wrong ?! Time will show…”
